If you are on route from Paris to St. Petersburg, Your Highness should happen to rest your horses down Valmiera way, we sincerely recommend stopping at Valmiermuiža, enjoying the hospitality of its landlords at your leisure and wetting your whistle with Valmiermuiža’s famous beer.




We'll tell guests about how Valmiermuiža’s rich history has influenced the creation of our beer. Pondering the brewing of beer, we soon arrived at the conclusion that a famous place deserves a famous beer, and therefore, we decided to do our utmost to ensure that through the drinking of our beer, the name of Valmiermuiža would be heard both near and far. Thus, it takes a whole 30 days to brew a unique beer from three types of malt and two different varieties of hops.
 

During your visit, you will have the chance to find out how to taste beer in the style of the lord of the manor and which foods are best enjoyed with it. Duration of a visit to Valmiermuiža’s craft brewery and beer sampling – 1.5 hours. Ticket price - Ls 3.50 per person or Ls 5.50 if in addition to our beer degustaton you would like to try the finest local cheese selection as well.
