Sightseeing:

1) Sietiņiezis is the largest exposure of white sandstone in the Baltic Region: 15m high and 400m wide. The formation derives its name from bee tunnels in the rock;

2) The River Gauja is the most beautiful and ever changing river in Vidzeme region and Latvia that starts in Piebalga. That is the only river of the largest rivers in Latvija that starts to flow and ends in the territory of Latvia. The length of the river is 460 kilometers.

The trail is facilitated: near parking place for car or bus, picnic areas, viewing platforms. There are stairs and footbridges, dangerous places are marked!

You can taste or pick berries and mushrooms in nearest forests!
