ALONG THE FOOTSTEPS OF THE LYNX

The 2.8 km long walking trail leads along the slopes of Zilaiskalns, which is wrapped by legends and stories. It starts at the cultural history and visitor center ZTORNIS and leads up to the top of the hill, where there is a man-made intersection center with the highest energy flow. Legend has it that in ancient times many scientists and namesakes lived in the vicinity of Zilākalns, but not so long ago the famous Marta of Zilākalns lived and healed people. At the top of the hill there is a viewing platform on Imanta hill, from where you can see the landscape that opens from the northwestern slope of the hill. Further on, the circular path winds down the forest paths, past several sacred trees and scale stones, leading back to the ZTORNIS.
