AROUND LAKE BURTNIEKS (50 KM)

The 50 km long circular route starts and ends in Burtnieki, near the manor park. It winds around lake Burtnieks, revealing a great diversity of nature and spectacular landscapes. Along the way you will be able to get to know the cultural history, enjoy the peace of the countryside, combine cycling with swimming, relax on the well-maintained beaches of the lake, have a picnic or taste the fish soup prepared by local fishermen.

Road surface: forest trails, gravel roads, asphalt.

Route marking: local cycle route No.112. The route in some sections coincides with the regional route No.17.
