THE MUJĀNU SOCIETY HOUSE
The Mujānu society house is located in a scenic location on the shore of lake Mujānu in the territory of the former Mujānu manor, 7 km from Valmiera.
Already historically (19th century), the house was built as a meeting place for people, and today it has been reborn as a beautiful cultural place, preserving its historical aura and significance. The building is open for larger and smaller conferences, seminars, meetings, collective gathering events, Pop-up restaurants, cultural events, master classes, as well as other creative and artistic events.
The Mujānu society house is a cultural monument of national importance and a unique architectural testimony. Excursions accompanied by the owners of the house require a prior reservation while the territory of the house can be viewed on a daily basis, when events are not being held. In the territory of the unified complex with the Mujānu mill pond, the palace granary and the protected park, there is also an archaeological monument of national importance – the White Tower of the medieval fortress of Mujāni.
