MARTIN­’S HONEY (VI – XI)

15 km from Valmiera is the Krītiņi farm in Burtnieki parish, where the owner Mārtiņš is a beekeeper and produces delicious flower honey.

During the tour, the host introduces the beekeeping processes, starting with a story about the use of production technologies from ancient times to the present day, and ending with delicious pancakes with honey and a cup of warm tea.

It is possible to purchase farm produce on site, while a self-service honey cabinet is available daily.
