RIVER ABULS: DUTKA – TRIKĀTA – VALMIERA (18 KM)

The river is suitable for lazy recreational boating, where you can watch the diverse, sometimes shallow, sometimes steep banks of the river, and from time to time challenge yourself by maneuvering between the rocks or through the Trikāta HPP. Starting from the Kaģu bridge in Trikāta, the river can be boated all year round. Boating can also be started from the river Lisas, through the lakes on the Trikāta side and further along Abuls to the river Gauja.
