Join the biggest ethnomusic event in Latvia and meet again in Valmiermuiža on 5 July 2025! For the eighth year, the International Valmiermuiža Ethnomusic Festival will bring together seekers of authentic experiences, as well as outstanding soloists and contemporary ethnomusic bands from Latvia, as well as from countries near and far. A diverse musical experience, ranging from traditional to contemporary ethnomusic music, will appeal to even the most demanding music lovers.
Circus performers, a fire show, cuisine from different cultures, peaceful and restless recreation areas, visual arts events, entertaining educational workshops celebrating modern sustainability using ancient skills – the festival promises a range of diverse experiences and a great atmosphere for the whole family!
