RĀTES VĀRTI
The restaurant Rātes vārti is located in the towncenter opposite the Valmiera Drama Theater. The style of the restaurant is romantic Art Deco, with floral and shadow theater motifs. The menu is characterized by seasonality with an emphasis on local products, which allows to get to know the rich nuances of the region.
During the summer season, guests are welcome to enjoy a barbecue prepared right on the outdoor terrace. A delicious meal combined with a pleasant atmosphere, a postcard-worthy view of the old town of Valmiera and St. Sīmanis church can also be enjoyed from the restaurant’s glass conservatories.
