VALMIERA MUSEUM
The Valmiera Museum is one of the most important repositories of historical artifacts in Vidzeme.It was founded in 1959 and is situated in a complex of reconstructed and restored buildings built between the 18th and 21st centuries, located in the territory of the Valmiera Livonian Order castle ruins. The collection of the museum contains about 70 thousand objects – evidence and materials about the territory of Valmiera region from the most ancient times to the present day.
