DIKĻI PALACE

The Dikļi Palace is one of the most beautiful and noble manor houses in Latvia. Its current building was built in 1896 when it belonged to Baron Paul von Wolf, creating an expressive neo-baroque building. The ensemble of Dikļi Palace includes a barn that is older than the castle itself – built in the late 18th century in the form of late classicism with a majestic portico uncharacteristic of barns inm Vidzeme.

The palace houses the only collection of paintings by Latvian artists of the Latvian National Awakening period, consisting of more than 200 works of art, as well as fireplaces and stoves decorated with luxurious ornaments and images of the 20th century. It is a unique, comprehensive collection.

When going to see the glorious palace, at the same time you can see valuable works of art – witnesses of ancient times and events. The magnificent interior preserves authentic windows and doors, wooden wall and ceiling panels, and the old parquet floor of the Cigar Hall.

The manor house of Dikļi Manor houses a luxury four-star hotel, a gourmet restaurant and a SPA salon. Visitors of the palace are offered active leisure opportunities, conference, seminar and wedding halls.
