The Ice cream factory Rūjienas Saldējums producers are also called cloud pushers. Probably that’s why the ice cream made here tastes so delicious. When visiting the factory, you will be able to participate in the preparation of ice cream, taste the diverse tastes of the famous Rūjienas Saldējums, watch the production processes through a video film and learn interesting stories from the beginning of the factory to the present day.

Educational program for students and youth:

• I Would Like to Make Ice Cream One Day. An educational excursion offering a behind-the-scenes look at ice cream production. Participants learn how teamwork, technology, and creativity come together to create popular flavors, while discovering the roles of food technologists, nutrition specialists, and production teams. The visit concludes with an ice cream tasting.

The program is suitable for students from 1st grade. Duration ~1 hour. Group size – 10 to 70 people.
