SEDA BOG
Nature reserve Seda Bog (“Sedas purvs’) is an almost uninhabited area. As a result of peat extraction, a peculiar cultural landscape has emerged here, consisting of peat extraction fields and bog ponds. You can get acquainted with the riches of Seda Bog by following the marked walking route – Jērcēni circle (4.5 km, GPS 57.7055987, 25.7001324).
There are an observation tower in the bog to observe the typical cultural landscape here. A recreation place with a table, benches and a fireplace has been created on the Jērcēni side circle route.
