THE VALMIERA STATE GYMNASIUM SCULPTURE GARDEN  

The Sculpture Garden established in the territory of Valmiera State Gymnasium was created at the beginning of the 21st century on the initiative of the then director of the gymnasium Jānis Zemļickis, reviving the traditions of the Valmiera stone sculpture symposium. You can see improvisations with various materials and mostly from stone made sculptures by  Andris and Reinis Vārpa, Gvido Buls, Gundars Kozlovskis, Pauls Jaunzems, Dace Blūma, Matīss Jansons, Juris Švalbe, Ivar Drulle, Aigars Krievāns, Solveiga Vasiļjeva, Kristaps Strauts, the Lithuanian Vytautas Tallat-Kelpša.
