On November 21st various restaurants in Latvia were recognized by the Michelin Guide and were made part of the world’s most respected restaurant guide. After careful evaluation by the inspectors, the list includes 26 restaurants that stand out for their special ability to create art in the world of cooking and hospitality – among them also the restaurant Akustika in Valmiera. We are proud of the team at Akustika for their well-deserved high recognition!
The restaurant is located in the old post office and telegraph building of Valmiera and the foundation is made up of friends – experienced industry professionals. The Michelin Guide inspectors evaluate the quality of cuisine offered by restaurants based on five international criteria: product quality, chefs’ skills and cooking techniques, harmony of flavors, chef’s personality reflected in the food served and consistent quality of the menu.
