The restaurant is located in the old Valmiera post and telegraph building, which is one of the grandest buildings in the town that has survived to the present day. The core of the restaurant is made up of friends who, combining their experience and professional knowledge gained over the years, have created a heartfelt place to enjoy family, tastes from all around the world and musical performances.
Akustika is a modern, cozy and family-friendly restaurant, also included in the prestigious MICHELIN GUIDE in 2023. Local producers are supported to promote sustainable and responsible gastronomy. Most of the ingredients used in the dishes are from local farms, including organic meat from local farmers. The menu is changed twice times a year, including seasonal natural garden produce, offering traditional Latvian food values while preserving the culinary culture of Akustika. A special but understandable menu has also been created for the little gourmets. A versatile range of wines, cocktails and other drinks is available here, which will not leave indifferent even the most sophisticated drink connoisseurs.
